In preparation for the Bicentennial of the United States, many postage stamps were issued to commemorate events important to the history of our country. Such is the case with this set of FOUR stamps in a Block Of Four to make up a complete picture of what was related to be the story of the Boston Tea Party.
The four stamps are Scott Catalog items: #1480 featurning a British Merchantman Ship, #1481 featuring a British Three Master, #1482 featuring boats of the raiding party and a ship's hull and last, #1483 features a boat in the harbor and a nearby dock with people waving them on!

Item #1: 10 Blocks of Four in Sheet Format. This is a lower right section [of a plate of 200] and it has serial #34250 imprinted on it. There's a Zip block, a Bicentennial block and a MAIL EARLY IN THE DAY block of stamps in this grouping. The gum and perforations are in excellent condition on this entire item.
